Today Qualcomm announced their Quick Charge 5 technology which will be included in their letest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC. With Quick Charge 5 technology, you can charge your smartphone up to 135W in wired connection.
This may not sound something miracle. Because we have already watched 160W charging supported prototype smartphone by Infinix.
But the fun fact is this fast technology will be in consumer market. This means we can commercially buy a smartphone and experience the speedy fast charging technology.
Another important news is that this technology will be introduced with upcoming Red Magic 7 pro which will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Qualcomm also said that with their Quick Charge 5 technology, a 5000mAh battery can be filled in 15 minutes. This can be a hint that upcoming Red Magic 7 pro will offer a 5000mAh battery and 135W fast charging.
